BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist.

Cowgill, CR, GCP Has completed the training and testing to become a BPI
Certified Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist. As a Building Analyst he is
capable of conducting comprehensive testing and evaluation of your home and your
appliances. These tests include blower door testing, CAZ (Combustion Appliance
Zone) testing and infiltration measurements. For more information call

Current News:
25E Residential Performance Tax Credit
While
this legislation was supposed to pass by December 31, 2011 it has not yet.
However, most experts believe it will. What is it? This legislation will provide
the first performance based tax credit for people to make whole house energy
improvements. Based on projected savings of Heating, Cooling and Hot water use
from 20% to 50% you could qualify for a tax credit from $2000.00 to $5000.00.
Testing in and out is required.

With the current economic conditions; choosing a good contractor is more important than ever. I am already a registered contractor with Chase Bank and Wells Fargo Home Lending. And, with rising energy costs why not have your home checked for efficiency while we're there?
What makes Vision Design & Build, Inc. different from other companies? The answer is simple. A small company that is happy to be a small company. I have been in business for more than 25 years. We are now celebrating more than 12 years of custom remodeling. We have always been specialists in creating kitchens, baths and additions that compliment your home. By not trying to grow into a large company, we have been able to deliver high quality, great service with your budget in mind.
As a design/build firm I am able to reduce your costs by designing your project with your budget in mind. As you make selections of materials and finishes you are informed of the effect on your budget.
By continuing my education, I demonstrate my commitment to bring my clients, the safest, most energy efficient, low maintenance and beautiful home in their neighborhood. I am currently the President of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry of Greater Chicagoland. I am a NARI Certified Remodeler and Certified Green Professional. I am also and EPA Accredited RRP Trainer. And have just completed my Certifications as a BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist. That means I can conduct blower door testing and infiltration testing on your home and show quantatative results for the work I provide for you. I have been a volunteer member of the Illinois Lead Elimination Advisory Panel for IDPH for more than 4 years.
I have conducted workshops at Habitat for Humanity of Fox Valley's Restore facility for more than 3 years. Workshops were held on the 2nd Saturday of each month during the fall, winter and spring months.
